Enjoy this delicate, fruit forward wine on its own, or as alongside fresh sweet seafood such as softshell crab, grilled prawns or chicken skewers served with a fruity salsa. Light fruit-based desserts will work well such as Eton Mess with strawberries and meringue.
This wine shows abundant red berry aromas of strawberry and raspberry, with hints of sweet almond and apple blossom florals. The berry flavours carry through to the palate joined by juicy red apple and a touch of spice. This wine is joyously light bodied with a beautiful freshness and charm.
The fruit for this wine was harvested between 5th March and 7th April 2018 using specially selected parcels of fruit that achieved full flavour ripeness at lower sugar levels, to produce lighter alcohol wine. The fruit was crushed directly to a bag press, and then juice clarified. The wine was fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks, using aromatic yeast to retain the delicate fruit driven style of this wine.
