Wither Hills – Early Light Pinot Noir Rosé

MARLBOROUGH

ALC/VOL: 9.5%

Rosé pairs beautifully with almost any food but zingy, light summer dishes are our pick.

Taste Profile:
Soft, watermelon-pink in colour and radiating summer freshness, Early Light Rosé exudes perfumed aromas of wild strawberries and raspberries. Reminiscent of summer berries, enjoy this truly refreshing style at just 9.5% alc/vol.

Winemaking:
Fruit for our Early Light range of wines is harvested early to capture optimum flavour ripeness whilst reducing the levels of naturally occurring sugar. This lower level of sugar means less alcohol is converted, resulting in a lighter in alcohol style of wine.

The 2019 vintage was a story of two halves. High rainfall over flowering in November impacted yields, however the low rainfall and elevated temperatures that followed in January/February resulted in enhanced ripening. The flowon from the hot, dry weather over January and February saw our earliest ever harvesting at Wither Hills, producing a fresh vibrant Rose’ packed with flavour and aromatics.
